Little Leaves, Big Impact

The Whistler Children’s Centre has provided quality early childhood education and care for local families for over 40 years. Rising costs and limited government funding have created a significant budget gap, and the Giving Tree was launched to help close it. This annual fundraising initiative aims to raise funds to ensure the Centre can continue offering accessible, high-quality childcare. Each donation “grows” the Giving Tree with a symbolic leaf, creating a meaningful display of community support both at the Centre and online.

Green

$50 - $499 donation

Helps fund field trips and bus passes so children can explore the community. From local parks and libraries to gondola rides and visits to the Firehall.

Bronze

$500 - $1,999 donations

Supports technology upgrades like the HiMama app, improving communication with families and giving teachers better tools for reporting and planning.

Silver

$2,000 - $4,999 donations

Provides classrooms with engaging materials. Books, puzzles, art supplies, musical instruments, STEM toys, and more. To nurture creativity, problem-solving & skill development for ages 3 months to 5 years.

Gold

$5,000 +

Invests in educators through training and professional development, helping every teacher achieve full ECE qualifications and stay current with the latest research in early childhood education.
